Does any one know of any OFFICIAL nature photography contests??? I want my photos to be safe. I’m not a profesonal I’m just an amature hobby photographer but I love some of my pictures and it would be fun to enter. However I’m a little afraid of putting my favorite photos on the internet, I know they are not amazing but, I wouldn’t want someone else to have my pictures, unless i sold it to them(if they are good enough to sell). how could i build the skills? is it a good idea to do some for free (ie friends/family)? should i try to partner up with a photographer for a bit? should i start with “budget” packages to those that do not want to spend £800+ on a photographer and concentrate on the traditional style and build on my creativity?
Re: the point below about doing freebies when there is already a pro covering. i would love to do this, but feel that the pro might not be too pleased. any thoughts?
