How do we find new clients for wedding photography?

My husband has been a part time wedding photographer working mostly off word of mouth. He is ready to grow the business and would like to gain more clients. How should he go about advertising his business now? This is the wedding season and hopefully there is someone out there who does not have a photographer yet. It is too late to advertise in the phone book or other adds. What should we do?

My husband has the education and the experience. Now, we want to move to a full time business with this.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Well make cards with your name and number and put them at stores or at the mall. ALso put ads in the local paper. AND give them to friends so if they hear anyone needing one they can give them your card. ALSo some churchs have bulletins, and advertise there.
